Well well well … moving into the finals today, Fernando Alonso has nudged the prancing horse for a pole start. It would be one of the many highlights for this season in a while; a night race, a tight track, a close fight amongst the top contenders, just to name a few. Alonso’s time of 1:45.390 is very respectable and was enough to put him in front of favorites Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull’) and Lewis Hamilton (McLaren). While Jenson Button (McLaren) starts at fourth and Mark Webber (Red Bull), the current point leader is in fifth.
