The Lost Symbol

“The Lost Symbol” by Dan Brown

Wow ! ! ! You must get this new novel from Dan Brown. After the Da Vinci Code, this would be another bestseller. This is going to be a brilliant and compelling thriller. What I admire most is his extensive research and his ability to weave it into an exhilarating action packed novel.

There is a worldwide phenomenon now tracking Dan Brown’s new novel and the release date is expected to be 2009, September 15.

And it would not be surprise that Robert Langdon would be featured.

History, Codes and Intrigue (1) would deliciously blended by Brown’s brilliant talent in storytelling. Its launch would be one of the most anticipated novel in our time. The hallmark of Brown’s style would be exemplified to full bloom from the very first page and the spine chilling thrill of discovery would be full of surprises (2).

“This novel has been a strange and wonderful journey,” said Brown. “Weaving five years of research into the story’s twelve-hour timeframe was an exhilarating challenge. Robert Langdon’s life clearly moves a lot faster than mine.”

Bibliophile says:   Today’s press release date is not coincidental – today is the spring equinox. The release date, 9/15, is exactly 1 week prior to the fall equinox – 9/22 for 2009. Perhaps Dan is giving readers 1 week to complete the book and experience the fall equinox as Robert Langdon does in the book. My guess is that it deals with pagan religions and the Freemason connection with a manifestation in Washington, D.C.

S. Banks says:  I am sure they are keeping the plot a secret to stymie copycat-ers. The Da Vinci Code movie took a long time to come out and in that time, National Treasure was shoved out the door in an obvious attempt to take advantage of the popularity. NT was identical to the DaVinci Code on a structural level. My guess is they don’t want hack authors or movie producers trying to imitate this new book before it even comes out. “The Forgotten Relic” starring Nicholas Cage, etc..
